On August 30, 2004, First International Bank changed its name to San Diego Community Bank. We did this to better reflect the market we serve - the communities of San Diego County.
Who We Are
San Diego Community Bank was established in 1980 and is the oldest independently owned community bank in San Diego County. We are headquartered in Chula Vista, which is located about 10 miles south of downtown San Diego. We also have a branch office located in nearby Otay Mesa, just a few steps from the
Mexican border crossing.

As a community bank, we specialize in providing depository products such as business and personal checking accounts, savings accounts and certificates of deposit. Providing the best products along with the best customer service possible is our number one priority.

San Diego Community Bank also concentrates on providing a full range of commercial real estate term loans as well as construction loans to finance the building of individual single family residences, small residential tracts, apartments and commercial buildings.
